Frequently Asked Questions
Does Amazon ban AI books?
No. They just require you to disclose it. However, they reserve the right to restrict visibility if quality complaints arise.
What about Grammarly or ProWritingAid?
These are considered 'editing tools', not generative AI. You generally don't need to disclose basic grammar checking.
Will readers see an 'AI' label?
Currently, Amazon does not proactively label all AI books on the product page, but this policy could change at any time. Transparency is best.
Can I copyright AI images?
Generally, no. The US Copyright Office has ruled that AI-generated art cannot be copyrighted. You only own the text you wrote yourself.
